Match Pack: Man City

Manchester City head to Old Trafford on the back of a comprehensive 3-0 home win over West Brom, but having previously dropped five points in the Midlands; losing at Aston Villa and drawing with Birmingham. United, of course, finally slipped to a Premier League defeat, albeit in unexpected circumstances against struggling Wolves. While the Reds' away form has been unpredictable all term, Old Trafford has provided a welcome points haven, and the league leaders have won 10 successive home league games and have taken 37 from 39 available points this term.

Ins and outs
Much depends on the fallout from a midweek international programme. Both sides lost a raft of players to their respective national teams, but still managed to benefit from the resting of key players: Nemanja Vidic sat out Serbia's win over Israel and Carlos Tevez missed Argentina's win over Portugal. Almost certainly out of action for United is Rio Ferdinand, who limped out of the warm-up at Wolves with a calf strain, while Jonny Evans picked up a slight knock with Northern Ireland. Ji-sung Park may make his first appearance since Boxing Day, having returned from Asian Cup duty. City will be without the injured Adam Johnson, but are reportedly working overtime to have striker Mario Balotelli fit. Micah Richards could also return after concussion.

Carlos Tevez remains integral to City's inflated ambitions, and is vying with United's Dimitar Berbatov for the Premier League's Golden Boot award - Tevez has 18 goals to Berbatov's 19, ahead of Saturday's game. The
